Meet Belladonna
Belladonna is a fusion dance artist entertainer and innovator from Washington DC. She is the founder and director of Bohemian Bellydance and the creatrix of the Boho Blade sword dancing system and certification program.Belladonna is driven by her desire to make creative expression easily available to those who may find it hard to tap into on their own, due to work, family, busy schedules and responsibilities. Her focus is on creating classes, educational programs, music and training that are safe, meaningful, well researched and fun. She uses her dance education and training, as well as her hunger for knowledge and experience in art, design, and energy healing, to help make her programs authentic and one of a kind. The goal of Bohemian Belly Dance is to inspire and cultivate the seeds of enlightenment, healing and self-expression, and self-awareness that can grow from the practice of fusion belly dance. Bohemian Belly Dance aims to provide high-quality instruction and create spaces and opportunities for dancers to find, develop and express their personal truth and creative voice.

Cherrá

Meet Cherrá
Cherrá is a performer and instructor from Washington DC where she enjoys teaching beginner bellydance, bellydance fitness, and sword classes at various local studios and venues. She has studied all over the country, solidifying her knowledge of the AmCab world and merging it with various dances styles that she has learned from amazing dance teachers. Cherrá currently holds Bohemian Blade Level 5 certification under Belladonna, Journey to Egypt 1&2 Certification and is currently working toward her Level 3 Teaching certificate under The Bohemian Belly Dance Training Program. She is currently a member of Ebony Qualls’ Troupe Nebula and participates in projects and performances with Belladonna and Bohemian Belly Dance. Kalistra

Meet Kalistra
Kalistra is an award winning fusion dancer from Maryland. She is known for her spellbinding story telling and her seriously sassy blade work. Kalistra is now a Bohemian Belly Dance Ambassador, Level 6 certified Mystic and Double Sword level 2 Novice. She performs solo and with Belladonna and Boho Global at events.

Kristy Anderson

Meet Kristy
Kristy Anderson is located in Green Bay, WI and has always been attracted to any art that moves. She stepped into her first bellydance class at the YWCA 20 years ago and instantly fell in love.Kristy holds a level 6 sword, level 1 Boho belt, double sword 2 and is a Boho Blade licensed and certified Instructor under Belladonna and is currently working on her Level 3 Boho Academy TT certification. Kristy holds additional certifications with Zoe Jakes, Rachel Brice. Salimpour School, Deb Rubin, Kami Liddle and April Rose. She is currently studying Aerial Dance, Flamenco, Hula, Tap and Odissi. She continues to pursue an understanding of the culture and history of the artforms she enjoys.Kristy is a senior member of Navah Mirage and co- created Mirage Fusionistas in 2018 and is a member of Belladonna's international Solanceae dance company. You can find her participating in projects and performances on on her own and with Belladonna and Bohemian Belly Dance across the globe.

Layla May

Meet Layla May
Layla is a certified Boho Elevation instructor, level 6 Blade Mystic and Double Sword Level 2 Novice. Layla has been dancing with Belladonna for over 10 years. She is also a certified yoga instructor and a member of Boho Global and Belladonna's Nightshades dance company. Layla is known for her relaxed deminor, her kindness and ability to break down complexed content to simpler pieces.

Leanne Lucelia

Meet Leanne
Leanne Lucelia is based in Brunswick, Germany and is one of the first certified Boho instuctors in this country. She has taken fusion classes since 2010 and discovered Belladonnas Bohemian Blade Style during the pandemic and it resonated so deeply - she dove in head-first! Leanne is now a Level 2 certified and licensed instructor and Bohemian Belly Dance Ambassador, Level 6 certified Mystic and Double Sword level 2 Novice. She is a member of Belladonna's Solanceae international dance company and performs solo and with Belladonna and Boho Global at events and festivals in the US and Europe.

Melissae

Meet Melissae
Melissae is a fusion dancer currently living in Tennessee. She performs nationally and internationally, is a certified Boho Academy Elevate Instructor, and a member of Belladonna's Solanaceae Dance Company. Melissae is a Boho Level 6 Mystic and a double sword Initiate. She is known for the magic she creates with her swords and skirts. Melissae teaches technique and choreography locally and online and is thrilled to be teaching the new Boho Skirt Style series and a deviously flirty performance-ready sword choreography starting soon.

Shannon Burla

Meet Shannon
Shannon is a Boho Ambassador and the creator of Sword Magic located in Berkeley, California. Shannon has had an extensive dance journey, starting in 2014 at a magical event called Lark Camp. She is an international teacher and performer. Shannon currently holds a BOHO Certified instructor working toward her level 2 teaching certification. She performs solo, with Belladonna and the Boho Global performance group at various festivals and events.

Shauna Jayne

Meet Shauna Jayne
Shauna is a certified Boho Ambassador hailing from Calgary Canada. Known for her killer double sword performances, fire sword, face paining and circus arts she has great energy and loves a good adventure.

Stevie Kamai

Meet Stevie
Stevie is a licensed Boho Ambassador and Dark and Gothic fusion performer located in Munich, Germany. Stevie has had an extensive dance journey, starting with 15 years of Hula and other Polynesian dances. In her search for a dance form that resonated with her interests and artistic tastes, Stevie discovered Bohemian Belly Dance. She has been a member of the Boho format for over 10 years. Stevie currently holds a level 6 Blade Mystic, and level 1 Double Sword certification, and is a Boho licensed and certified instructor working toward her level 3 teaching certification. She performs solo, with Belladonna, Boho Global and as member of Belladonna's Solanceae international dance company at various festivals and events in the US and Europe.
